Record-breaking Number of Participants in 164 Mile Challenge in 2023

The 164 mile challenge took place for the month of February and we had a record number of participants this year, with over 1,000 people walking, jogging, running and even swimming to reach their target.

In the Corporate Cup, Intertrust had the most participants (82 in total) and Walkers raised the most funds for the charity (£670).

The Secondary Schools were also well represented, with Victoria College for Boys topping the leaderboard for most participants, with over 600 students getting involved. Jersey College for Girls raised the most funds (£274).

In the Primary School category, Janvrin had the most participants (196 in total) and raised the most money (£517).

Nicola Connolly ran and walked the most miles by an individual (just under 300), and we would like to take this opportunity to welcome her to the charity as our Marketing lead.

Natalie Quenault raised the most amount of money by an individual (£365 in total) in memory of her friend, Beth, who passed away in late 2022.

Thanks to the tremendous efforts from all involved, the charity has raised a total of £25,072. £12,072 came from donations via RaceNation, £11,000 from charitable foundations and £2,000 generously donated by our supporters, Brooks Macdonald.

Details of the prizegiving ceremony will be published soon.
